Confirming an attendee’s attendance marks them as present at the event and records a timestamp for the confirmation. You can do this from the attendee list for individual attendees, which is useful for spot-checks or cases where you need to manually mark someone as arrived.

Confirming attendance from the attendee list

Each row in the attendee list has a check mark icon. Click it to confirm that attendee’s attendance.
1

Locate the attendee

Use the search field at the top of the attendee list to find the person you want to check in. See Managing attendees for search tips.
2

Click the check mark icon

Click the check mark icon in the attendee’s row. JTE Panel records the confirmation immediately. If the attendee has already been confirmed, the icon is green and disabled. You cannot confirm the same attendee twice from this view.
3

Review the confirmation

When the confirmation succeeds, the icon turns green and a success notification appears showing the attendee’s name: “[Name]‘s attendance confirmed.”If the attendee was already confirmed before you clicked (for example, another operator confirmed them at the same time), no duplicate confirmation is recorded and the notification is not shown.
Once confirmed, the check mark button is disabled in the attendee list and cannot be clicked again. Attendance confirmation cannot be undone from the panel.

Card UID assignment for badge scanning

For events using physical access cards or NFC badges, you can assign a card UID to an attendee. This links their record to a specific badge, enabling automated attendance tracking at entry points via badge scanners. Card UID assignment is handled separately from the manual confirmation above. Enter the card UID in the attendee’s detail view and save — JTE Panel links the card to that attendee record immediately.
Card UID assignment is part of the on-site attendance management flow. For full check-in workflows using badge scanners, kiosks, or bulk confirmation, see the on-site attendance management page.

Confirming payment separately

Confirming attendance and confirming payment are independent actions. Confirming someone’s attendance does not mark their payment as received. To confirm payment, use the dollar-sign icon in the attendee row or see Managing attendees.
